Blood Donor Center Nurse T-Shirt - First-Time Donor. Watched the Bag Fill Like a Scoreboard.

Some donors read a magazine. The first-timer watches the scale like it is the last two minutes of a tied game. That is the joke behind "First-time donor. Watched the bag fill like a scoreboard." On the front of this tee a donor leans out of a reclined sage chair, eyes huge, one fist pumped in the air, while the resting arm stays put on the armrest under a soft pale-blue wrap. A thin tube leads to a plain pouch on a rocking scale whose tiny dark readout lights up in amber bars, no numbers, just rising bars. Off to the side the nurse is grinning and holding out a plain juice box for the big finish.
