Twelve years old. Still pounces on my shoelaces. Many Burmilla people say their cats never quite grow out of the kitten games. This tee shows the front door: a pair of plain sneakers on the doormat with one lace pulled out long, and a silver shaded Burmilla flipped on its back, head twisted up toward you, both front paws batting the lace and hind legs kicking. Big green eyes rimmed dark like eyeliner, a brick-colored nose, white chin and belly, and darker tipping along the silver back. On the shelf, a birthday card with a big 12 and sparkles.
