Homeroom, 7:45. The announcements mic squealed again. A big mug for the first fifteen minutes of the school day. The wrap shows the whole room: the sunrise window, the clock reading 7:45, the ceiling speaker squealing in jagged lines, three students cringing with fingers in their ears, and the homeroom teacher sipping peacefully with eyes closed.
Room for a refill before first period. Give it to a homeroom teacher who has made peace with the microphone. A 15oz mug, for the bigger pour.
