This poster gives the drawing full space: a warm kitchen on January 1, a line of relatives waiting their turn with spoons, and the first relative taking a single spoonful from the steaming pot of peas.
The words on it: "New Year's Day. Grandma stood at the stove until everyone ate a spoonful of peas for luck." One spoonful each, supervised, every first of January.
Printed at 11″ x 14″. A wall piece for Southern families. A small piece that warms up a blank wall.
