Suction first. Small talk later. Respiratory therapists walk into a room with a job to do, and the pleasantries can wait until the airway work is done. This tee says it in two lines of sturdy slab type above an original line drawing: a coiled suction catheter with its thumb-port connector, whose tip curls into an empty speech bubble, the conversation saved for afterward.

It is for RTs on every shift, respiratory therapy students on clinical rotation, and the coworkers who have learned to step aside when the RT arrives. Give it during Respiratory Care Week in October, for a graduation from an RT program, or to a friend coming off a long run of nights. Light tees (Natural, Soft Cream, Heather Dust, White or Light Blue) are printed in dark ink and dark tees (Black, Navy, Heather Forest, Maroon or Dark Grey Heather) in light ink, sizes S to 3XL.
